DESCRIPTION: Range of medical face masks which grant maximum protection. They have been conceived to be used by healthcare professionals during surgical procedures in operating rooms and in other medical activities, in order to protect patients from the transmission of infectious agents, which spread through droplets of secretions coming from the mucous membranes of the mouth and nose of the members of the surgical team. Moreover, in some situations, they are necessary to protect the wearer from splashes of potentially contaminated liquids (type IIR). Medical face masks may also be intended to be worn by patients and other people to reduce the risk of spreading infections, particularly in epidemic or pandemic situations.
